Several years ago, after a particularly aggressive snowstorm, the sun came out and my husband suggested a walk in the woods. The three evergreens we saw that day, heavily laden with snow, have inspired three paintings and a couple of Christmas cards.
What a challenge, though, to create a piece that’s much larger than anything I’ve painted to date. I am thrilled with the outcome, blessed to have been given the commissioned opportunity, and inspired to continue with larger canvasses!

I enjoy taking on custom work when I have space and feel inspired. Learning about other’s stories, loved ones, and experiences is an honor and challenge I do not take for granted. Therefore, I do not accept all custom work, but I always value inquiries.
