Beach Babies Beeka’s Boys

Acrylic | Mixed Media on Canvas | 8" x 10" x 1.5" | Private Collection

Was asked to create an artwork based on the photo of Jaydon and Malakai at the beach. While I was painting, I could “see” scripture and words forming the sand-worn wood behind the fellas.

After asking their Grandmother, who commissioned this piece, what her favorite scripture was, I was able to use Ephesians 4:2 for the background. The clippings are from my Grandma Fulton’s vintage King James Version Bible. But I really like the NIV version so I used that as well: Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.

Sorry about the long title, but after calling the piece by both names for so long, the rhythmic alliteration was fun and just fit so well!

Learn About Commissions

I enjoy taking on custom work when I have space and feel inspired. Learning about other’s stories, loved ones, and experiences is an honor and challenge I do not take for granted. Therefore, I do not accept all custom work, but I always value inquiries.
