Who wouldn’t be inspired by this adorable ball ‘o (non-allergenic) fur?!? Actually, I “saw” the red and white pom poms as a mixed media addition before I started painting.
At the same time, I was looking for papers to use for this piece, and my husband was leaving Candy Cane Kiss strips from Hershey's Kisses everywhere. I asked him to throw them away... and then (2 days later) I realized THAT WAS MY EPHEMERA!! At that point he needed re-trained to SAVE and not pitch... hahaha... it’s a process...
