I wanted to hurry spring along a little faster by immersing myself in my work and was inspired to paint the bunny that scoots from underneath my pine trees to my shrubs to OUTSIDE my garden fence. I don’t think she’s been nibbling at my vegetables so we are still on good terms. This piece started out in my imagination as a simple rabbit portrait ... but then my imagination and inspiration went (literally) WILD with summer weeds a butterfly and even a second bunny. I was touched by a comment from my Muse that it was one of her favorite works and that it “automatically makes me happy looking at it!” OK Spring ...LET’S GO!!

This painting is also the beginning of a new sig for my work ... just, simply a k with a period. More information continues to be written on the back of the canvas.
