Fondamenta Morano
Had the great opportunity to visit Venice in 2014. A side trip took us to the neighboring island of Murano ... well known for glass making. This unique red building, with very typical Venician windows, located within the Fondamenta del Vetrai (Glassmakers’ Foundations) was the inspiration for this piece. I painted a smaller version (8”x8”) of only the windows for the 365 Inspired Art Exhibition at Bottleworks in 2015.
