Into the Woods (Print)
Rarely, when I’m ready to start a new painting, do inspirations dart out in front of my car and run into the woods. While leaving Glendale Lake after my last kayak float of the year, we drove past fields that had been stocked with pheasants. These magnificent birds are nearly impossible to spot in the weeds but this photographic fella chose the perfect time to shoot across the road! I’ve been creating new pieces for an upcoming show and was eager to add a pheasant to the menagerie. I’m continually amazed how God chooses to accommodate when I’m doing what He’s asked of me.
